BookingBug is designed to work best by allowing businesses to embed their availability and live booking as widgets in websites. We're not a destination site, but we want to help businesses get their services in front of their customers. You can help, and earn revenue for doing so!  BookingBug has a fully featured affiliate programme that enables our affiliates to show live widgets for the businesses they list.   The widgets are designed to be easy to create and embed in any site. They can be customized to suit your style, and you choose how much to charge your customers for embedding their widgets in your site.  Don't forget that by adding live booking and availability widgets to your site you also gain content that keeps users on your site, and keeps them coming back!

Can I use BookingBug on my site?

BookingBug is suitable for a wide range of sites. Examples are:  Business directories

I was planning on writing by own booking system.

Writing a booking system is a long, complex and expensive process, believe us, we know. We've spent several years building BookingBug to be simple, yet powerful, and suited for a wide range of businesses. Our advanced features range from calendar integration to complex payment options. We're constantly adding new features such as mobile versions and accessibility support- things that would be complicated in a custom system.   We can offer a wide variety of customizations and revenue shares for sites that have large numbers of customers. We can white label and custom embed much of BookingBug so it is a seamless experience for your users. You can still generate great revenue at a fraction of the time, effort or cost of writing or running your own system. How do I embed it in my site?

There are many ways to embed BookingBug, from a simple manual sign-up process where you can vet each customer, to a full integration API with search and business widgets customized for your site, and white labelling services and solutions.  There are full instructions on integration options when you sign up. It can be as simple as a single line of script, or you can use one of the plugins we have for common languages and content management systems.

 

How much can I earn?

BookingBug offers affiliates multiple ways to earn revenue.  First, when embedding a business's widgets, you can set your own charges for embedding in your site. This could be based on:  A fixed monthly cost
A per enquiry or booking cost
A percentage of the cost of the service booked
  You can pick the charging policy that suits your site, and your customers, best. BookingBug will explain all charges to potential customers, we will bill the businesses monthly on your behalf, and pay you in a single monthly payment accompanied by a breakdown of how much and where your revenue was generated.   Additionally, you can earn revenue from brining new customers to BookingBug. For each customer you bring to BookingBug, we will give you 20% of their first year's subscription.

 

I don't have a site that lists businesses, but I still want to be a reseller.

Even if you don't want to list businesses' availability widgets yourself, if you reach a wide number of small businesses, you can still become an affiliate and earn revenue for bringing new customers to BookingBug. Just select that option when signing up. We have standard links, emails and banner ads that you can use to promote BookingBug to your customers.
